Google Analytics

Since one month I am using Google Analytics. This program is designed to analyse traffic from the web on your site. Very easy to use, and the program is free!
I am using the next Google analytics options:
  • Pageviews
  • Visitors
  • Location
  • Incomming sources (search/direct/link)

One of the main reasons to start this blog was to get worldwide information about speedsurfing. With loads of intresting articles/news for windsurfers. Every 2 -3 days I check incomming sources, and the blog gets more worldwide every day!

I believe it is good to think about our windsurfdesigns, and maybe you guys find inspiration in this blog for better/faster speedsailing design.

I mentioned it earlier, but if you like to share/ publish a speedsailing article please contact me!

  2. Mark,

I did have increase of traffic after you managed that link. After you posted @ windsurfing.nl about my blog I saw biggest increase.

There is enough intrest in speedsurfing, now I am spending 1-3 hours per week on this blog. The whole computer & internet business is new for me, and to get a worldwide audience I still have to make contact on several foreign websites. That does take some time.

But I am quite happy for now. Average stats now:

    -50 Readers (10 via google/ 40 via feedburner)
    -somewhere between 50-100 daily visits

I am most proud at the usefull comments!! Thank you guys!!! Because that is the most important for me, getting feedback. And learn.

    Cheers,

    Erik
